Portal Lite instantly displays the caller’s profile from your MIS as soon as you answer the phone, giving your team quick access to key information.

Our integration saves times by removing the problem of mispelling names or manually finding profiles in your MIS system, saving at least 2 minutes with parent calls.

The Portal interface gathers information from different school systems into one area.

Upon answering a call, Portal will display the caller's details such as relationship with Student's, and their Caller History.

Communication History shows when a call was made in or out of school, by whom, and and any messages added by the Call Handler.

Our Portal Pro product allows schools to writeback attendance information directly to your MIS for both session (AM/PM) and lesson attendance, streamlining the first-day calling process and saving at least 2-3 minutes per attendance calls.

Some schools utilising EdTechPro's Portal Pro have switched from an Attendance Mailbox to taking calls Live as it's much faster with Portal, and gives Attendance Teams the ability to scrutinise reasons given there and then.

Safeguarding Notices

If a caller has a court-ordered relationship, this information is immediately displayed in the screen pop-up.

Schools can also add Pinned Notes to accounts, which automatically appear as soon as a parent calls.

Additionally, schools can request that CPOMS filters, such as "Monitored Student," are displayed on the screen for added context.

CPOMS Integration

Portal allows you to set monitoring status on a Guardian's profile, which means any time a Guardian calls in it creates a CPOMS Incident in the Incident tray.

The alert will give your Safeguarding Team the ability to see who called who and when, the call handlers name and duration of the call. If you use 3CX Enterprise you can enable a setting that will also provide a link to the call recording.

CPOMS Integration is backwards compatible with Portal and allows you to set a monitoring status in CPOMS and for it to filter back to Portal to create the alerts.

Notify Staff of Call

Another time-saving feature of Portal is the built-in email compose tool, which automatically fills in key details based on the caller. You can simply enter the name of the person you’d like to notify about the call, with the option to include a note if needed.

Frequently asked questions

Do you support Multi-Academy Trusts on a single 3CX instance?

Yes, we do. If a trust has a single 3CX instance with multiple schools Portal can support each school's MIS system on that same instance.

What is the difference between Portal Lite and Pro?

Portal Lite and Portal Pro offer similar features, but Portal Pro includes all Lite capabilities plus built-in attendance logging. This means you can record attendance directly in Portal Pro without switching to your MIS, streamlining and speeding up the attendance process
